MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS FOR THE 1984-85 SEASON ARE NOW DUE AND PAYABLE. Our new season begins in October and we hope that all our loyal members will renew for the coming year. Fees remain at $15.00 per annum and, as we cannot afford to send individual billings, we would appreciate your early remittance addressed to Mr. William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7. THIS IS THE LAST ISSUE THAT WILL BE SENT TO THOSE WHO DO NOT RENEW THEIR MEMBERSHIP. Many members have already renewed. Won't you please join them, if you have not already done so?

This being the first issue of our seventeenth volume, we wish to thank all those who help to make "Scanner" a success. This includes not only our regular correspondents but also all members who support us with their fees. In particular, we should like to express a word of thanks to all those who have sent along such kind comments concerning our publication.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Duncan White of Point Edward, to Marc Dease and to Capt. R. E. Campbell, both of Sarnia, to V. W. Stecker of Windsor, to Joy Robers of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and to Glen Cleave of Port Colborne.
