- 4 steamers Colonist, St. Lawrence, City of London, Scotia, and Persia. The latter vessel he still commands,
- 5 Michigan, whilst he was master of the steamer Scotia. The fires of the vessel were extinguished by the
- 6 same night Capt. Scott weathered the gale in the Scotia, but her entire deckload of flour was carried
- 7 of 1881. Spring of 1882 saw him in the propeller Scotia also owned by Mr. Battle. In 1883 he sailed the
