Congratulations to member Henry Daciuk of Stoney Creek, Ontario, who was selected to appear on the CTV programme "Thrill of a Lifetime". His thrill was a trip on the Muskoka Lakes steamboat SEGWUN, and the tape made last August was aired in the Toronto area on February 27. The show illustrated SEGWUN's old-fashioned charm, as well as some of the interesting sights along the "100 Mile Cruise", notably the Port Carling lock and Windermere House. Henry was allowed to take the wheel out on Lake Muskoka and even to make the dock at Windermere. It's not every ship enthusiast who gets to wheel a 97-year-old steamboat!
