As usual, our October Meeting featured members' photos illustrating their widely varied summer shipwatching activities, and a most enjoyable evening was the result. We thank all those who brought (and even sent) slides to be shown, and we thank Roger Chapman for once again serving as projectionist.

MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR THE 1986-86 SEASON; Are you wondering, perhaps, whether you remembered to send us your renewal for the new season, as requested in the Mid-Summer and October issues? If you receive this issue, then not to worry, for only those who have renewed remain on our mailing list. If, perchance, any of your friends mention that they have not received the November issue, you might remind them that their membership renewal is overdue. Once again, our sincere thanks to all those who renewed early and who sent such kind comments with their fees. We appreciate the continued support.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Jeff Cameron of St. Catharines, to Stuart MacPherson of St. Catharines, to Andy Douglas of Scarborough, to Romeo Rail of Montreal, and also to the Owen Sound Public Library. The continuing flow of new memberships is most gratifying.
