The Welland Canals Foundation, in association with the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority, the Geography Department of Brock University, and the Steamship Historical Society of America, will this autumn present its third annual Welland Canal Rally and William Hamilton Merritt Lecture Series. The event will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 6 and 7. The S.S.H.S.A. meeting will continue on the Saturday, the speaker that evening being T.M.H.S. member, the Rev. Peter J. Van der Linden of Detroit.
