To all our members and friends, the Directors extend their best wishes for a most Happy and Prosperous New Year.

The December meeting was a most entertaining and interesting one as when the Society has the good fortune to have Alan Howard as our guest speaker, it is always one of our high-lights of the season. For those who attended and saw the beautiful slides taken on the QUEEN ELIZABETH towards the end of her career, it was indeed a delight to hear Alan paint the description of his trip aboard and pass on to us his enjoyment of his voyage, which from the way it was described, we all felt as if we had made the trip with him.

At the December meeting it was also suggested that later on in the season we have another dinner meeting. From a show of hands at this meeting, all those attending were in the majority that we have a second dinner meeting around April.
