The November Meeting featured Bill Wilson's slides of the first Safmarine voyage of ASTOR in the spring of 1984, and the maiden voyage of the Holland America Line's NOORDAM. A memorable evening was enjoyed by all present. Our thanks to Bill for his efforts in preparing his interesting program.

LAY-UP LISTS: With our lakers now heading for winter quarters, it will soon be time for us to present our annual report concerning the ships wintering at the various lake and river ports. You can assist us by visiting your local ports, and then sending us your listings of the boats wintering there, for inclusion in these pages. The more complete and accurate your reports, the more valuable will be this information for the historical record. We will appreciate receiving your reports as soon as possible.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to James Gilmore of St. Catharines, to W. H. Hastings of Point Edward, to Capt. Robert Cutt of St. Catharines, to N. M. Paterson & Sons (Quebec) Ltd. of Montreal, to Intermetco Ltd. of Hamilton, and to James M. Semon of Oakville, Ontario.
