- 1 W. J. SUFFELL was built in 1874 at Port Burwell by McDermott
- 2 to begin the job of getting the coal out of the W. J. SUFFELL before she broke her back, lying on the shore.
- 3 Corson was in town on the 16 June with the W. J. SUFFELL, delivering 500 tons of coal. This was her fourth
- 4 schooner W. J. SUFFELL, Capt. John Corson, left Charlotte on Wednesday,
- 5 appearance. She was followed a day later by the W. J. SUFFELL with a cargo of coal. It was announced that the
- 6 and ERIE BELLE all in with coal cargoes. The W. J. SUFFELL was unloading coal from Charlotte for Dewey &
- 7 for Oswego and was followed a day later by the W. J. SUFFELL, Capt. John Corson. The propeller LAKE MICHIGAN

- 20 first schooner to arrive was the faithful old W. J. SUFFELL, with 475 tons of coal. She got aground in the
- 21 wintering in Hamilton were the W. J. SUFFELL, Capt. John Corson, SINGAPORE, Capt. S.
- 22 season on the 27 April. Capt. Corson took the W. J. SUFFELL out and headed for Cleveland on the 27 April, to
