- 1 told its readers that "The proprietors of the Lake Ontario Mail Steamers (Hon. John Hamilton, et al.) had made an
- 2 a number of the splendid craft belonging to the Royal Mail Line and the steamers of the Ogdensburg Line. We hear
- 3 summer of 1848 consisted of the following. The Royal Mail Line was running the MAGNET, Capt. Sutherland, from
- 4 becoming involved in rumours concerning which "Royal Mail" steamers would call at Hamilton in
- 5 steamer SOVEREIGN of the Hon. John Hamilton's Royal Mail Line by three hours. There was a "rate war" in
- 6 made a compromise. They promised to pay the Mail Line on the Lake for every cabin passenger their
- 7 Royal Mail Line placed the PRINCESS ROYAL on the Hamilton,
- 8 Royal Mail Line this year, would consist of the steamer
- 9 items brought to light was the fact that the Royal Mail Line would be operating the MAPLE LEAF, MAGNET,
- 10 "Royal Mail Line" for this season was to consist of the MAGNET,
- 11 Royal Mail Line steamers for the 1858 season were: MAGNET, Capt.
- 12 WELLINGTON and BOSTON. The steamers of the Royal Mail Line were: KINGSTON, PASSPORT, CHAMPION, MAGNET,
- 13 noon on Sunday, after a turbulent 21 hours. The Royal Mail steamer KINGSTON and the American Line steamer
- 14 Royal Mail Line listed the KINGSTON, Capt. Clark Hamilton,
- 15 and passage could be booked in Hamilton at the Royal Mail Line office, where J. W. Murton was the
- 16 the 24 November it was rumoured that the Royal Mail Line would, in 1865, run their steamers from Hamilton
- 17 steamer EMPRESS was sold out of the Royal Mail Line in March and it was stated that she would operate
- 18 from Kingston told that the Royal Mail steamers GRECIAN, MAGNET and PASSPORT, as well as
