- 1 in Oswego, she was refloated by the steamer PORCUPINE and was then towed to Montreal by the steamer
- 2 at Montreal. Macpherson & Crane were running the PORCUPINE, which had recently undergone a complete rebuild.
- 3 listed were: Steamers REINDEER, SCOTLAND, PORCUPINE, WESTERN MILLER and the small propeller MERCURY.
- 4 Sughrue and on the St. Lawrence, they had the PORCUPINE, Capt. Cowley and 6 barges of 200 tons each. Also,
- 5 28 May, Holcomb & Henderson lost their steamboat PORCUPINE, when she was destroyed by fire about 2 miles
- 6 Dover, Pt. Burwell, and Port Stanley, while the PORCUPINE, Capt. Crowley, would handle the River trade from
