- 6 CELTIC and LAKE MICHIGAN were loading grain at Pt. Arthur. The propeller OCEAN arrived on her 23rd trip from
- 7 3 July to carry out her duties from that port to the Lakehead. The MACASSA and MODJESKA had been repainted and
- 8 the seas on Lake Superior, she returned to Port Arthur and laid up for the
- 9 & Bell Ltd. Built for Thos. Marks & Co. of Port Arthur, she measured 245.0 x 40.1 x 20.5 and had a gross
- 10 Author's CollectionWord received from Port Arthur on the 20 May, stated that the propeller MYLES
- 11 fitted with a large Blake pump. She headed for Port Arthur to load scrap for the Ontario Rolling Mills Co.
- 12 for the mining and shipping of ore from the Port Arthur district and here again, was the stumbling block
- 13 The LAKE MICHIGAN was on her last trip to the Lakehead and the SIR S. L. TILLEY was downbound between
