- 3 6 April with the departure of the schooner PERSIA, Capt. MacCallum for Toronto. The first arrival of
- 4 195 tons, JESSIE, 315 tons, HERCULES, 318 tons, PERSIA, 294 tons, ANNIE FALCONER, 303 tons, SWEET HOME,
- 5 propeller PERSIA, Capt. J. H. Scott, was the subject of a highly
- 6 ERIE (73), LAKE MICHIGAN, LAKE ONTARIO, OCEAN, PERSIA(73), SCOTIA, SOVEREIGN (73), L. SHICKLUNA, R. W.
- 7 DROMEDARY, DOMINION, LAKE ERIE, LAKE MICHIGAN, PERSIA and PRUSSIA in daily service from Montreal to
- 8 were fitting out at Hamilton. Elsewhere, the PERSIA, Capt. Cavers, AFRICA, Capt. Patterson and
- 9 Capt. Patterson, CALIFORNIA, Capt. Jas. McMaugh, PERSIA, Capt. Cavers, DOMINION, Capt. R. McMaugh,
- 10 April. On the Lake Ontario to Montreal service: PERSIA, Capt. Cairns, DOMINION, Capt. R. McMaugh and
- 11 schooner PERSIA, built in Hamilton in 1867, foundered on the 9
- 12 propeller PERSIA, which had been on the Hamilton-Montreal service,
- 13 thereto. She was followed two days later by the PERSIA, also on the Montreal
- 14 and cleared for that port, while the propeller PERSIA came in from Montreal and cleared to St.
- 15 propeller PERSIA was placed on the Montreal-Hamilton run until the
- 16 gale detained the steamers HAMILTON, ACADIA and PERSIA at the lower end of the
- 17 propellers PERSIA and LAKE MICHIGAN were in port on the 2 June and
- 18 propellers MELBOURNE and PERSIA were loading apples for Montreal on the 11
- 19 in on the Montreal service and the propeller PERSIA arrived from St. Catharines and cleared for
- 20 propeller PERSIA and the steamer HAMILTON were in port on 23
- 21 propeller PERSIA loaded grain and pig iron on the 22 April and
- 22 further talk of them going to the seaboard. The PERSIA, OCEAN and HAMILTON all made calls and the LAKE
- 23 LAKE MICHIGAN and the PERSIA arrived on the 17 June with general
- 24 weekend, the steamer HAMILTON, the propellers PERSIA and LAKE MICHIGAN and the schooner W. J. SUFFELL
- 25 all came in from Oswego. The HAMILTON and the PERSIA arrived from Montreal and the SIR S. L. TILLEY
- 26 These were the propellers CUBA, MELBOURNE, PERSIA, OCEAN, ARABIAN, LAKE MICHIGAN and SIR S. L.
- 27 propeller PERSIA made a call on the 22 May and the next day the
