- 5 there were Daniel MacNab, Wm. P. McLaren, Daniel C. Gunn and Richard Juson. It said, in part: "The want of
- 6 community and read as follows: R. Juson, Daniel C. Gunn, J. H. Larkin, Nehemiah Merritt, Jas. Mathieson,
- 7 locomotive engineer and general machinist." Gunn, at this time, lived at 43 Main St, and gave his
- 8 Daniel Gunn's locomotive manufactory was having its brief hour
- 9 was in May of 1856 that Mr. Gunn commenced the locomotive works to which we refer.
- 10 "On the motion of Michael W. Browne, seconded by Daniel C. Gunn, the Mayor was called to the chair and on the
- 11 to Hamilton and the former car works, in which Daniel C. Gunn had built a few locomotives and failed at the end
