- 1 SCOTIA were assigned to the Montreal to Chicago, Fort William and Duluth services tri-weekly. The Hamilton
- 2 Bay, Michipicoten Island, Silver Islet and Fort William. In addition to these, virtually every port on
- 3 propeller CELTIC, Capt. Cavers, sailed from Fort William on the 25 October, towing the schooner BESSIE
- 4 of rails from Buffalo and loaded groceries for Fort William, shipped by Jas. Turner &
- 5 in May to carry rails from Conneaut, Ohio, to Fort William for the Carnegie Steel Co. She had, been built in
- 6 for Conneaut to load rails for the C. P. R. at Fort William. From that port, she would proceed to Two Harbors
- 7 and the ARABIAN, on a voyage from Montreal to Fort William. The propeller LAKE MICHIGAN was on dry dock at
- 8 she cleared for Conneaut to load rails for Fort William.
- 9 cargo of general merchandise and cleared for Fort William.
- 10 reached Toronto on 30 November with grain from Fort William. Much ice was encountered, coming down the Kam
- 11 and had taken 24 days to go from Montreal to Fort William. She was now homeward bound and was expected at
- 12 propeller LAKE MICHIGAN was loading cargo for Fort William and would load grain there for Montreal. The
- 13 asked "Where is the ACADIA?" She had left Fort William one week before, with wheat for Montreal and had
- 14 All hands were safe at Gargantua. She had left Fort William at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 4 November, with
- 15 sailed on the 25 April, with general cargo for Fort William and the LAKE MICHIGAN headed for Montreal with
- 16 port with the schooner T. R. MERRITT in tow for Fort William.
- 17 tow, was heading for Cleveland to load coal for Fort William. Off Fairport, fire started in the engine-room
- 18 ARABIAN came in from Kingston and departed for Fort William and the T. R. MERRITT arrived from Oswego with
