Farmer
1   St. Catharines the previous year under the name FARMER.
2   steamer CATARACT, Capt. A. D. Kennedy, and the MAZEPPA, Capt. M. Donaldson arrived from Lewiston; the
3   late date, the steamers QUEEN OF THE WEST and MAZEPPA were still making daily trips. The LORD ELGIN had
4   daily, except Sundays. Later in March, the MAZEPPA, Capt. Donaldson, was operating between Lewiston,
5   the MAGNET and the arrival from Lewiston, of the MAZEPPA. Other arrivals were the MAPLE LEAF from Kingston
6   Railroad. There was some doubt as to whether the MAZEPPA would operate on the St. Catharines and Toronto
7   Toronto, had the choice of two steamers. The MAZEPPA, Capt. E. Butterworth, left Hamilton at 1:30 p.m.
8   supervision of Capt. Donaldson, to replace the MAZEPPA. The engine for the WELLAND was being assembled at
9   Lake Huron, saw the former Lake Ontario steamer MAZEPPA driven ashore at the Saugeen River, She was
