- 23 Capt. John B. Fairgrieve landed the Lighthouse Supply charter and his

- 25 sailed on the 29 April for Owen Sound and Capt. Fairgrieve, having got the Lighthouse Supply charter,

- 27 to inspect the steamer ARABIAN, being built for Capt. Fairgrieve. The visitors expressed pleasure with what they
- 28 3:00 p.m. and all preparations were complete. Capt. Fairgrieve's little grandaughter Rita was ready with the
- 29 Upper Lakes began on Wednesday, 7 November and Capt. Fairgrieve's steamer ARABIAN was driven ashore 8 miles west of
- 30 Kingston. From Hamilton went Adam B. MacKay and Capt. J. B. Fairgrieve, while St. Catharines was represented by Capt.
- 31 the Hamilton Iron & Steel Co., T. Myles & Son, Capt. John B. Fairgrieve and R. O. & A. B.
