- 5 did fairly well in the timber trade, while the ELLA MURTON and the UNDINE were busy bringing coal to

- 15 of fitting out was going ahead. The schooner ELLA MURTON had wintered at Murton & Reid's Wharf along with
- 16 reached port. They were the MAGGIE McRAE, the ELLA MURTON and the L. D. BULLOCK. The first-named
- 17 & Reid had had new masts and spars put in the ELLA MURTON. At Robertson's Shipyard, the propellers ACADIA
- 18 for Oswego and would return with coal. The ELLA MURTON was unloading coal and would then go to
- 19 his eighth season as master of the schooner ELLA MURTON was ready to sail for Oswego to pick up a cargo

- 21 Wharf were taxed by the arrival of the schooners ELLA MURTON, WAVE CREST and IDA BURTON with cargoes of coal.

- 25 Lyons, owned by Capt. Allen of Port Dover. The ELLA MURTON, Capt. Thos. Armstrong would be carrying coal for
- 26 schooners MARY ANN LYDON, Capt. Robinson and the ELLA MURTON, Capt. Armstrong, while the lineup at Myles' Wharf
- 27 schooners W. J. SUFFELL and ELLA MURTON were both unloading coal cargoes on the 20 May
- 28 not been fixed for the season yet, the schooners ELLA MURTON and SINGAPORE cleared for Oswego on the morning
- 29 ANN LYDON, SIR C. T. VAN STRAUBENZEE and the ELLA MURTON, all in with coal. The steamer HAMILTON and other
- 30 arrived with coal for the gas works and the ELLA MURTON was at Rogers' Wharf on the 13 July. The Lachine
- 31 Toronto, when she was attacked by the schooner ELLA MURTON, coming through the Canal. The schooner's jib-boom
- 32 the schooners TRADE WIND, W. J. SUFFELL and ELLA MURTON all came in from Oswego. The HAMILTON and the
