- 4 their advertisement on the 3 April, as follows: CELTIC, CANADA, CALABRIA, DROMEDARY, DOMINION, LAKE ERIE,
- 5 CELTIC was the first of the Lake & River Steamship Co.
- 6 the LAKE ERIE, LAKE ONTARIO, LAKE MICHIGAN and CELTIC were at MacKay's Wharf. At Myles' Wharf were the
- 7 CELTIC, on her light-house supply trip, left Port
- 8 propeller CELTIC was chartered for the Lighthouse Supply trip this
- 9 their vessels on the 28 April, as follows: CELTIC, Capt. Vaughan, CALIFORNIA, Capt. Hanna and
- 10 vessel arrivals on the 24 May included the CELTIC from Montreal with 4,000 kegs of nails for
- 11 on Lake Ontario and succeeded in keeping the CELTIC, PRUSSIA, OCEAN and SCOTIA busy on the
- 12 MURTON at Murton & Reid's, UNDINE at Myles', CELTIC, DROMEDARY, LAKE MICHIGAN and LAKE ONTARIO at
- 13 to inspect the LAKE MICHIGAN, LAKE ONTARIO, CELTIC, ST. MAGNUS and ACADIA. The following day, the
- 14 Capt. J. Duncanson, CLINTON, Capt. Maudsley and CELTIC, Capt. Thos. A.
- 15 Capt. Burrows. Montreal and Chicago service: CELTIC, Capt. Geo. Malcolmson, OCEAN, Capt. A. McMaugh
- 16 CELTIC, outward bound on the 20 May, called at
- 17 the SPARTAN for Montreal and the arrival of the CELTIC from dry dock at Port Dalhousie. The schooner
- 18 next day and that afternoon, when the propeller CELTIC came rolling past, the distress signal was down
- 19 scrap iron for the Ontario Rolling Mills and the CELTIC, which had been chartered by the Government for
- 20 the 20 August, the CELTIC, Capt. Cavers, was back in Montreal, having
- 21 Bay as soon as the ice moved out. The propeller CELTIC would join the Merchant's Line service between
- 22 in the vicinity of Oak Orchard. The propeller CELTIC, on a voyage up the Lakes was lucky to find
- 23 the 19 November, the CELTIC was downbound on Lake Huron and her owners hoped

- 47 at Browne's Wharf. The OCEAN, LAKE MICHIGAN and CELTIC were at MacKay's and the Hamilton Steamboat Co.

- 49 ready for the new season. On the 18 April, the CELTIC, resplendent in new paint, was about to leave for
