- 4 Capt. R. Henderson, was operating from the old Beckett Wharf at Simcoe St. to Rock Bay and John Dynes' Wharf
- 5 occurred in Hamilton on the 3 October at the old Beckett Wharf, causing the destruction of the steam-launch
