Our December Meeting featured Bill Wilson's views of his recent west coast trip aboard ROTTERDAM, the Grande Dame of the Holland America Line. It was a most enjoyable evening for all present.

Lay-Up Lists: In the February issue, we will present our annual report on the vessels wintering at various lake and river ports. You can assist by visiting your local ports and sending us lists of the ships laid up there. But please don't guess about the identities or locations of the ships, as inaccurate reports only make the job of collating the material that much more difficult. Please let us hear from you as soon as possible.

At this, the New Year, we wish to extend a special word of thanks to all of our regular correspondents who have kept us supplied with marine news, etc., during 1986. Your efforts are what keep this publication alive, and we hope that we will be able to count on all of you again in 1987.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Peter Latona of Painesville, Ohio, to Terry Ernest of Port Huron, to Rodney Webb of Iroquois, and to William Ansell of Sombra.
