Our February meeting was a resounding success with an excellent program presented by Bruce Smith. He showed slides of a trip down the Rhine and also took us on a trip along the Erie Canal, a most interesting voyage indeed. Our thanks to Bruce for a most enjoyable evening.

The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held on Friday, May 13th. Please note the change in date necessitated by the restaurant's schedule. We will be sharing a delicious roast beef dinner in the cozy surroundings of the Ship Inn (located in the cellar of the museum) and afterwards will enjoy a program by Peter Worden who will come from Detroit specially for the occasion. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. and the bar will be open earlier for those who might enjoy a pre-dinner restorative.

The capacity of the Ship Inn is limited and we must receive your reservation, accompanied by payment, by the date of the April meeting. The cost will be $10.75 per person and guests will be welcome. All those planning to attend should immediately notify Mr. James M. Kidd, 83 Humberview Road, Toronto, Ontario, M6S 1W9, enclosing the necessary remittance.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to John Lang of Toronto and to Eugene Onchulenko of Thunder Bay.
