MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS FOR THE 1986-87 SEASON ARE NOW DUE AND PAYABLE. Our new season begins in October and we hope that all our loyal members will renew for the coming year. Fees remain at $15.00 per annum, and your early remittance will be appreciated. Please forward payment to our Chief Purser, William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7.

In accordance with our policy of providing follow-up information to feature articles whenever possible, we had planned to present in this issue further material concerning MANITOBA/CARMONA/PITTSBURG, as well as J. H. JONES and CAYUGA. Unfortunately, however, there has developed so much marine news during the summer, that we do not have space available for those follow-ups or for book reviews in this issue. Rest assured that we will bring them to you in the October issue or as soon as space becomes available.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Stan Rendell of St. Catharines, to Malcolm McGrath of Toronto, to Capt. James S. Leaney of Welland, and to Jim Chidley of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
