The December Meeting featured black and white slides of old lakers, shown and produced by Roger Chapman. The programme generated much interesting member participation, and was a great success, so much so that part of Roger's presentation has been held over to the March Meeting. Watch for it then!

LAY-UP LISTS: Next issue, we will present our annual report on the vessels wintering at lake and river ports. You can assist by visiting your local harbours and sending us lists of the ships laid up there. Please let us hear from you as soon as possible so that we may prepare this important record.

At this time of year, we like to express special thanks to those members who have kept us supplied with marine news and other assorted information during the past season. It is your help that allows us to publish this newsletter and we very much appreciate your efforts. We look forward to receiving your continued support and assistance during 1986.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Gisela Sowada of Mississauga, to Doug St. Amand of St. Catharines, to Capt. James Caldwell of Owen Sound, to Bill Cripps of Midland, to Doug Overholt of Etobicoke, and to Capt. Mark Leaney of Welland.
