Our March Meeting featured four films obtained for us by Gordon Turner. One of them, courtesy John Lang, featured the former Cunarder CARONIA, while a film loaned by Collingwood Shipyards illustrated the building and commissioning of JOHN B. AIRD. It was a most enjoyable evening for all present.

THE ANNUAL DINNER MEETING will be held at the Ship Inn on Saturday, May 12. Dinner will be served at 7:00 and the bar will open early for anyone wishing a restorative before the meal. Guest speaker will be Mr. M. S. Campbell, P. Eng., regional vice-president, St. Lawrence Seaway, Western Division, who will present an illustrated address concerning some interesting physical aspects of the Welland Canal. Dinner is $17.00 and guests are most welcome. To reserve space for you and your party, please send your early remittance to our treasurer, William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7. Reserved, paid tickets will be held at the door.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Inn for an enjoyable evening. Reservations accompanied by payment must be received by May 8th, however. We regret that there can be no refunds after that date, and that tickets will not be sold at the door, for we must guarantee the number that will attend.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Mike Wolowich of Thunder Bay, to Capt. John J. Lawrence of Morrisburg, and to R. H. Webb of Surrey, British Columbia.
