Some of the pilots who handle the salties during their visits to the lakes must indeed have some rather strange memories of a few of the boats they have sailed. One of the pilots operating in the Toronto area is noted for the caustic comments which he sometimes makes over the air. Recently this particular pilot was bringing the Indian salty STATE OF HIMACHAL PRADESH into Toronto harbour via the Eastern Gap. After several radio conversations with the local port control, the pilot was heard to give his "Security Call" and to identify his ship therein as the STATE OF CONFUSION!
