On Page Fourteen of the October issue, we reported the sale for scrapping in the Far East of the former SUNSHINE COAST QUEEN, better known on the lakes as VACATIONLAND. Unfortunately, we committed an unforgiveable [sic] "typo" and showed her building date as 1925 instead of 1952. It should be noted that the ferry's (e) and (f) names, GULF KANAYAK and CANARCTIC EXPLORER, respectively, do not appear to have been registered officially. Of course, the double-ended ferry was built for the Straits of Mackinac service.
