Our thanks to Dyke Cobb, our recently appointed President (pro-tern.) for the most interesting photographic presentation which he made for the March meeting. The photos generated much comment amongst those present.

THE ANNUAL DINNER MEETING will be held at the Ship Inn, in the Museum, on Saturday, May 9th. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m., with the bar open earlier for those wishing a pre-dinner restorative. Speaker will be Carl Benn, Curator Marine & Military History, Toronto Historical Board, who will speak on "Lake Ontario and the Founding of Toronto". Tickets are $18.00 and guests are welcome. Space is limited. Reservations may be secured by directing early remittance to our Chief Purser, William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7. Reserved tickets will be held at the door. Please plan to join us for what promises to be a most enjoyable evening.

Please Note: Reservations, accompanied by payment, must be received by Tuesday, May 5th. We regret that there can be no refunds after that date, and that tickets will not be sold at the door, for we must guarantee numbers to the Inn well in advance of the dinner.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Frank Prothero of Port Stanley, to Hal G. Prentice of Chatham, to Barbara Blagdon of St. Ann's, Ontario, and to the Canadian Coast Guard at Prescott.
