The January Meeting was our Annual Theme Slide Night, which proved to be a roaring success as members let their imagination run wild. We certainly had some most inventive interpretations of our theme, "Distinctive Ship Markings", and we sincerely thank all those who participated.

ANNUAL DINNER MEETING: Please reserve Saturday, May 4th, for this popular event, at which we particularly welcome our out-of-town members. Watch for complete details in the March issue so that you may order your tickets.

Now that membership renewals for the current season are in, we should like to express our thanks to all those who included, with their remittance, such kind comments in respect of our Society and our publication. We appreciate your compliments, your wishes for the future, and also your suggestions.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Norman A. Brown of Santa Rosa, California, to W. A. Brown of Downsview, Ontario, to Harry A. Dinham of Mobile, Alabama, to Jurgen Niemietz of Scarborough, to Ray Kramer of Tillsonburg, Ontario, to John D. Henderson of Victoria, British Columbia, and to Ken Thomas of St. Catharines.
