Our December Meeting featured Robert Woodcock's illustrated address on the subject of side-launches at Collingwood. Everyone present should now know how to launch a laker into a pot of water barely bigger than her hull! Our thanks to Bob for his extremely interesting presentation.

LAY-UP LISTS: Next issue, we will present our annual report on the vessels wintering at lake ports. You can assist by visiting local harbours and then sending us your lists of the boats laid up there. Please let us hear from you as soon as possible so that we may prepare this important record.

This is the time of year when we express our thanks to all those members who have kept us supplied with marine news and other assorted information during 1984. It is your assistance that allows us to publish this newsletter and we very much appreciate your efforts. We look forward to receiving your continued support during 1985.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Al P. Jackson of Wallaceburg, to Richard Wentz of Duluth, to Guy St. Marseille of Cornwall, and to Bill Moran of Courtright.
