It is with considerable regret that we report the passing, on August 27, 1982, at age 84, of Capt. Robert A. Sinclair of Lakewood, Ohio. Long a member of the Toronto Marine Historical Society, he was a veteran shipmaster and the author of Winds Over Lake Huron, a most refreshing little book that we reviewed in these pages on its appearance several years ago.

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Capt. Sinclair.
